We're Angelica and Mark, the proud owners of Archers Ark, a quaint family business nestled in Eltham, Melbourne. Since 2020, we've been passionately sourcing, repairing, refurbishing and finding new homes for mid-century and retro furniture. Our dedication to this craft stems from a deep love for:

1. Design: We believe the post-war era yielded some of the most innovative, beautiful, and functional furniture pieces ever created. The widespread influence of 'mid-century inspired' designs today is a testament to their enduring appeal. Our collection includes pieces from renowned manufacturers such as Parker, Chiswell, Fler, Tessa, Reliance, Alrob, Noblett and Danish De Luxe.

2. Australian Made: While we occasionally source European pieces, the majority of our items hail from a golden era of Australian manufacturing. These pieces were meticulously crafted by hand, reflecting a time when quality and craftsmanship were paramount. Many of the companies behind these treasures have sadly closed their doors as manufacturing shifted overseas.

3. Sustainability: In today's throwaway culture, where furniture often has a short lifespan dictated by trends rather than quality, our pieces stand out. A Parker or Chiswell table, for example, can endure for over a century with proper care, potentially sparing ten equivalents from ending up in landfills.
